What We're Doing Now...
Andrew and I are doing great!!!
His leg is healing up quickly and he is feeling better every day. He has even begun going back to the skate park to do what he calls, "his own kind of physical therapy". I am not sure how safe that is, but he'll have to be the judge of that.
I am liking my new job very much! I am a teller @ Chase Bank, working just part time. Since I have never been good with my own money, it intimidates me at times dealing with the money of all the customers. So far, no big mistakes, so that is good. They seem to like me there too! We hope that all is well with all of you. Feel free to call or write...or just stop on by. We love being with and around our family and friends so please don't be strangers. We love you all! Please know that we think of you always.

It Takes Two...

I never thought that I would find myself joining one of these silly sites, but my sister inspired me with her funny stories and ability to share her thoughts. Now that I have been sucked into the "blog" if you will, I thought I'd use it as a way to communicate to those we care about on our life's rises and "falls" ...no pun intended.

Andrew and I have been doing all the fun things that newly weds get to do. You know, the norm...spending 4 days in the hospital due to a near death experience, moving 3 times in two months...even across state lines. Finding new jobs and, of course, finding ourselves without jobs. I've learned how to cook better than I'd imagined I would...Andrew even eats it from time to time. I pretend that I know what being a wife entails as I clean and do laundry for not only myself any more, but my better half. Life is so much fun when you get to share it with your very best friend. He keeps me on my feet...since he only has one!

We have only been married a little over 2 months now and I find myself more in love with Andrew each day. He makes me laugh so hard I cry; he does obnoxious things to keep me smiling like shaving just a mustache or calling himself the wolverine because he is convinced that he is healing 100x faster than humanly possible. (I think that he better qualifies for "wolverine" just because of his new facial hair. If you are reading this then be sure to remember when you see him to comment on how great it looks. Squint...or you'll never know it's there!

He is great with putting up with me and I am loving the chance to give him a run for his money. I can't wait for him to start feeling up to getting out and working again. I am afraid that with all his bottled up energy, he wouldn't make a very good stay at home kind of guy. I can't wait to run and play with him again soon.

Thanks for all of the love and support that you have all shown us through this challenging times. We are doing fabulous and appreciating each new day that we have together. We love you all. And remember, Andrew loves chocolate chip cookies!!
